After a long day of yard work with the Parents its time to clean up.  E got in a tussle with the rose bush.  C just got really dirty eating mulch.

We put the boys to bed at the usual time and went off to the basement for some quiet time.  We came back up and hour and a half later and there was a little thudding on the wall.  E was still awake and was kicking the wall with his crocs.  We are not totally sure why he was wearing them in bed, but we had him get up, come to our bed, and read.  We got through four chapters of Winnie-ther-Pooh before he started to flag.  After that he was quite quiet.  I hope he doesn't dream of Woozles.  C missed all the action.

Water After Walking

It is hot today.  We went for our walk.  Now we have water, buckets, and shovels and E is "baking" for us.  I am not sure I want to consume his creations, but they do feel refreshing when they land in my lap.
