Hot Dogs and Cars - Boys Night

This evening was the annual car show in old town.  We started the evening with friends for grilled dogs and strawberry shortcake.  Then we trekked over the trail and up the hill to the festival.  Our favorite car was the Excalibur.  It was quite snazzy.  The walk home was almost a catastrophe,  but a little running next to the creek made everyone happy. 

Awesome Dad

Jonathan is a great dad.  He does a good job including Edmund is all kinds of grown up projects, including yard chores.  Edmund would much rather be with Jonathan doing manly stuff than anything else.  Fortunately, Jonathan has strong shoulders.

My grandfather got the boys a book of trucks, called Monster Machines on the Construction Site. Edmund liked it so much he has been taking it to bed.  I hope it builds good dreams for him.
