A train leaves a station, and the time comes for everyone's tickets to be collected. There are no problems until the ticketmeister reaches one particular gentleman who admits to having no ticket, but states he wishes to be allowed passage anyway. When his entreaties fall on deaf ears, he finally reaches into his jacket, pulls out a Tazer, and says "Let me ride or you'll be sorry."
Well, the railroad employee doesn't flinch, he just grabs the passenger by the wrist, and when the passenger fires, the passenger is jolted hard and knocked out.
The unfazed ticket collector turns on his heel and says under his breath, "He should have known better than to try that. I'm a conductor."

Our Wing Men!!
We decided to adopt a wing from THE. We have the most amazing bunch of guys. Out of 15 of them 6 want to be/might want to be lawyers. No surprise there. The Brain fits in quite well. We had them over for dinner and games tonight.
When they arrived we played a manipulation game during the appetizer. Everyone gets a pencil and there are five words that you cannot say: professor, college, school, assignment, and class. If someone says the tabooed words than you take their pencil. The player with the most pencils at the end of the game wins. The Brain won. (Incidentally, I was rather put out that he did because I was going to give the winner a blue book. It is my last one and I wanted to get it off my desk. Next time!)
Feasting followed, and with the cessation of the game The Brain and I started getting to know them and their main pursuits. One of them is staring a prayer group, one of them likes blacksmithing. Most are readers, many like the things we like, and all are fun. After dinner and dessert we headed out to play laser tag. It was the best 15 minutes of crouching behind barriers and sniping adventurers I have ever had.

Tanglewood
While we were they they took us to a jazz concert at Tanglewood.
(For those highly uncultured, Tanglewood is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and is situated in the Berkshires of Massachusetts.)

One of the nicest things about Tanglewood is that it is in the "mountains".
Some of the fauna enjoyed the concert with us.
Our wonderful friends!
My Darling, enjoying the jazz!
Me enjoying the sun on my chin...
should have turned the brim of my hat down, but I was not burned.
ThenBossaBrasil, featuring Cesar Camargo Mariano, Romero Lubambo and Brazilian vocalist, Leny Andrade.
Lastly, the Maria Schneider Orchestra played in the sunset.
